Tucson Consciousness Conference

Hello Everybody,

The Tucson Consciousness Conference should be of interest to this group. It happens every other year in March, and they are accepting abstracts now thru Dec 10th. Find out about the Consciousness Center at the link below.

The aim of the Center is to understand how consciousness (in particular, subjectivity and the fact that *there's something it's like to be you*, fits into a scientific, naturalistic, physicalistic understanding of the world. There are always some wacky folks there (Deepak Chopra this year) but they mostly serve as targets for rigorous scientific folks, like David Chalmers, Ned Block, David Rosenthal, Stewart Hameroff... I highly recommend submitting an abstract for a poster presentation!
