Join us at Saturday, July 16th at 7 PM for a women's standup comedy showcase presented by The Screening Room and Hosted by Jen Blanco
Jen Blanco has her doctorate in funny (technically audiology) and is a laughter triple threat. She began performing comedy when she was 14 in Chicago, IL and has found herself here in Tucson, AZ. Currently she is a cast member at Tucson Improv and an actor & writer at Keep Tucson Sketchy. She produces Lady Bits at The Screening Room and both Battle of the Boasts and Punball Wizards at Tucson Improv Movement. You can listen to her weekly on her podcast, Kurt & Jen Make a Podcast, where they break down the sense of humor of your favorite bands.
Lisa Kristine is a wacky lady who decided to start telling jokes because it's super fun. She is obsessed with her dog and normalizing spinach for breakfast. She is distracted by shiny things, Instagram food porn, and deep existential angst. She can be found anywhere oat milk is an option.
If a well-fed stray cat were a person: Ly Johnson.
Geographically unstable and perpetually new in town, Emilyis a familiar face but no, you probably don’t know her from somewhere - dark haired white women only come in limited flavors.
Autumn Horvat is a Tucson comedian who has performed all over the southwest. She is a regular at Laffs comedy cafe and has worked with Gilbert Gottfried. She has been called a female Jerry Seinfeld. Clearly she’s going places!
Allana Erickson-Lopez performed stand-up throughout Arizona. Her comedy has been called witty, relatable, and slightly dark. She jokes about the absurdity of being labeled an “adult.” She has been nominated for Best Comedian by the Tucson Weekly, produces Keep Tucson Sketchy and performs improv.
Ashley Tappan is a comic from NY, TAPPAN into the local Tucson comedy scene. Her brand of humor is entirely her own, loud and self deprecating. She reads a room better than Lavar Burton can read a damn rainbow
Cari Medina is a cosmetologist, comedian, and all around cool cucumber. She began her comedy journey in July 2021. Cari finds fulfillment in bringing silly and nutty comedy to stages all around the valley. You can find her working as a salon and spa professional at Evolve Salon and Spa during the day and at night occasionally working with lovely production groups such as Chicano Power Comedy and Do Better. Make sure to follow @Selfcariphx for all things beauty and comedy xoxo! See less
