Tucson Conscious Foodies Pages

Welcome to TUCSON CONSCIOUS FOODIES
We are Tucson's Conscious Food Meetup. Our group is designed to help make Tucson a tasty and healhty place to live and eat. We do not exclude anyone from joining our group, however our Meetups will focus on Farm To Table, Non-GMO, Plant Based Foods, Raw, Vegetarians & Vegans.
Meetups can be anything from a Potluck, a gathering in the park with activities such as soccer, frisbee, etc., group hikes, all-day outings to Phoenix, Flaggstaff or Sedona to sample the healthier restaurants and take in the local culture. Movie nights (or a viewing of a health-based movie at someones house), Dinners out, dinners in (food made by a local chef), and more.

It is our intention to host and run events such as Vegan and Raw food classes and catered dinners. We often bring in educators and host classes. Contact us if you have ideas.

We are enthusiastic about the benefits of eating healthy foods... with this, we understand that we all need to find the RIGHT BALANCE of different kinds of foods in our OWN diets. While we do have members that are on an exclusive 100% raw or vegan diet, not everyone is. Some members simply desire to increase the amounts of raw or vegan foods in their diet. In our group, that is more than okay - it is WARMLY WELCOMED! We are blessed to have the FABULOUS UNIQUE YOU! The food at our gatherings, however, are Organic, 80%-100% raw, Vegan (or vegetarian if labeled), and Non-GMO.

We would love to see YOU enjoying your personal food choices and not stress out about trying to avoid things you think you shouldn't eat. We support our members in bringing more healthy and nutritious items into their diet. Adding HEALTHY FOODS/HERBS/SUPPLEMENTS keeps our focus on the POSITIVE. Over time, as we add healthy and delicious items to our diet, our bodies crave and desire more of those items and less of what might NOT be serving us so well.

Thankfully, we all get to decide for ourselves what the RIGHT BALANCE is with our own personal food choices (ex: vegetarian, raw vegan - or perhaps grass fed meat and dairy.) Our group does not dictate that balance, but rather encourages and supports our members to incorporate more raw and living foods in their diets, no matter what else they choose to eat, and we do our best to educate/support them in doing so.
