An estuary for free thinkers, cultural critics, and seekers of wisdom, for theists and non-theists, for the woke and for those who still don't know what that means, to talk through the things that can be talked through, debate the things that should be debated, and generally explore the horizons of understanding. A place for seekers of Dialogue in the truest sense, for the turning towards wisdom and away from the resentments, fears, and small mindedness endemic in popular discourse. All are welcome who are willing to meet in the spirit of honesty and respect, who come ready to meet with disagreement, and who are wishing to find a place of engagement outside of a digital sphere.
We find reference points in the thought of Jordan Peterson, Paul Vanderklay, Soren Kierkegaard, Fredrick Nietzsche, Robert Pirsig, Sam Harris and many others. Come Join other ponderers of the irreligious, the sacred, and sometimes the utterly silly, as we play out new ideas and explore the old.
We've been meeting every other week to discuss Robert Pirsig's book "Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". This time, we'll try to get up to the end of Part 4 (Chapter 32), which is also the end of the book as a whole. Please RSVP so we know to look for you.
