What we're about

This MeetUp is all about traveling to Italy. I have been traveling to Italy for over 30 years and after purchasing a Villa in Barga, Italy, I would spend a month or so a few times a year.

Barga is a wonderful small medieval city up the Serchio River from Lucca. It is known as a City of Art and is home to many Artists, Painters, Writers and Musicians. As you wander the streets with the cobblestones you can always hear the sounds of music or pass by an Art Gallery to see an Artist such as my friend Sandra Rigali working on a project.

Although, Barga is technically in Tuscany, it is on the border of Emilia Romagna which makes a difference when it comes to the type of food in the area.

Just in Tuscany alone, you will find so many differences in the Region, that you must travel to different areas of Tuscany to appreciate the entire region.

I have traveled all over Italy and know the regions and the best time of year to go. Additionally, I offer small group tours of 8 - 10 people going to a region to immerse into that culture.

Come join me at one of the meetups and let's talk Italian!

Let's travel from Milano to Venezia and then Croatia

The Living Room Wine Cafe & Lounge

As you know, I love the Northern Italy but once we get to Venezia then we can fly to Croatia and visit Dubrovnik. Come to this meeting to hear about how I combine Italy and Croatia. And in the South I combine southern Italy around Puglia and then we fly to Greece. So let's explore Italy and one other country either Croatia or Greece. I also can help you plan your own trip to Italy. We will continue to learn some words in Italian and start to make some sentences. Come join the Fun.

Immersion in Tuscany, and The Whole Soul of Sicily

The Living Room Wine Cafe & Lounge

Bellavita Toscana, Tuscany is the heart of Italy. It is my favorite place and it is where I have the most friends. We will go over the itineraries of my Tuscany Immersion and my Soul of Sicily. We will learn a few new words of Italian, and just explore the two areas of Italy that are very different. Come to learn about what we will see on each of these trips and what is included. I am moving the group to The Living Room so please take note of that.
