Mobile App Project

Hey guys,

We have a project that is expanding and need an additional dev. The project is a mobile application built with Cordova and Backbone. We're looking for someone capable of both implementing front end UI changes effectively as well as creating the functional code to power the app, its services, and connections with other API's. The role will be approximately half-time for 12 months. We'll work together in person at our office at least a couple of days a week. You will communicate with our team as well as the client directly. We will provide architecture guidance, code review, and design direction. Client will provide content assistance and implementation reviews.

The application is already live and has been in use for 2 years. There is new funding to support the this next phase. The client is a non-profit that works with kids in Tucson. The goal of the app is not necessarily to generate significant income, so future aspirations of giant IPO revenue should be reserved for another project. We do guarantee it will be fulfilling and rewarding work. The client is wonderful and easy to work with. The work is admirable and has measurable impact on our community. You will have room to stretch, learn, and experiment as needed to achieve deliverables. We'll work in a loose agile process with lots of autonomy to meet agreed milestones. It is probably a role best fit for a JS dev with at least some expereince building applications and connecting with API's. We are most interested in working with a good problem solver who wants a continuous project to expand their abilities.

We thought of this group first. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks

Austin
