Great movie, thank you for posting it! Love that there is a recipe out there for the fictional dessert courtesan au chocolat...LOL:

I second Melanie's comments about the movie. I'm a long time fan of Wes Anderson. And also sorry I couldn't stay for drinks, had a long hard day and was to tired.

If you go to the Varsity for any movie, it's really easy to buy tickets online. Elayne

Loved the movie! Charming, quirky, funny, bizaare - great choice. I'm becoming more and more enchanted by Wes Anderson. Sorry I couldn't join the group at Jack Astor's afterwards, I have an early appointment tomorrow. I hope to participate in future after movie activities.

For a change of pade we will go to Jack Astors at Bloor and Yonge after the show. They do separate bills so it will be easy for everyone.

Since we have a large group attending tonight I don't think we will be able to save seats all together. I will send people in clusters to save a few seats together and then we will meet after the movie just outside the theatre doors.

Sorry, the Cineplex website confuses me - they identify as Varsity & VIP, but the 6:30 show isn't in a VIP theatre .

I agree that the Cineplex site sucks! I use cinemaclock.com to get all my info re times/theatres and only then brave the ticketing on the Cineplex site cuz then I know exactly what I'm looking for. That's how I found out about the 2D/3D showing thingy for the Lego Movie.

Saw this a week ago. Varsity, The Big Theatre - #8.... just my opinion :) buckle up after the intro scene - it is off the wall Wes Anderson entertainment.

Prefer Yonge-Dundas if it's all the same!

a tip.. check out times on cineplex.com .. i was told by the ticket girl that it is the one that is always accurate; this after I showed up x2 at the wrong times as I looked on other sites..

I have picked (at least I thought I did) the 6:30 which is NOT a VIP movie. The VIP shows cost more and have a much smaller screen and room.

The 6:30 screening is in the VIP theatre - right? just so I buy the right ticket...

Hi Rebecca. You should really see some of his other movies. My favourites have been The Royal Tenenbaums, The Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Darjeeling Limited (a rather quirky movie but fun). Moonrise Kingdom came out a couple of years ago and is very good too.
