At TurnToTech, our emphasis is on understanding the software engineering process as opposed to specific languages, frameworks etc. Employers expect engineers to understand how software is developed, not just how code is written. And we address this by providing providing on the job training on two of the latest trends in technology - mobile and cloud. Our software engineers who conduct the training and app development typically have 10+ years of industry experience.

Students who join our program will get exposed to the full software development life-cycle, see first hand how systems are designed, understand data modeling, the role of security and infrastructure. The projects are mainly products that we own and have been developing for some time internally.

Every week we host multiple events at our campus which give the students exposure to other technologies. Some of our past events have covered PHP, iOS, Technology recruiting, Ruby on Rails, etc. We also host hackathons and networking events.

In addition to all this, we also host app pitches open to outsiders. Selected apps are developed by our company in exchange for equity and the interns get to work on them.

Our campus is quite informal and we also have a free co-working space which attracts a lot of entrepreneurs. This adds to the vibrant nature of our campus - located right next to the Flatiron Building.

Overall, we have a complete package aimed at students, graduates just starting their careers, and professionals with a deep interest in technology who may be contemplating a career in software development.
