We're excited to announce our two session meeting focusing on Azure and as always, automation!

Azure Process Automation:
Looking for an efficient way to automate operations while limiting the amount of infrastructure on premises? How about centralizing the creation, management, and monitoring of PowerShell or Python scripts? This presentation will introduce you to Azure Automation Process Automation, a cloud-based task automation service.

Topics include:
Create and manage PowerShell runbooks
Run automation jobs in Azure
Extend functionality on-premises with Hybrid Workers
Start runbooks using schedules and Watcher tasks
Passing variables between runbooks

Speaker: Travis Roberts is the Manager of Data Center Services at a Minnesota based Credit Union. Travis has 20 years of IT experience in the legal, pharmaceutical and marketing industries, and has worked with IT hardware manufacturers and managed service providers. Travis has held numerous technical certifications over the span of his career from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and Cisco. Then we'll hear from Travis Sobeck from the University of Minnesota on "How to chain a few free cloud tools together to build automation, powered by Powershell!" We're start with a form, leverage an Azure runbook, and get into MS flow. Come along for the ride!
