Begin to understand the Tao of T'ai Chi Ch'uan in this introductory lesson with Dayne Thomas at 10:00am.
We will review basic concepts from the previous lesson and then apply them further into the realm of t’ai chi ch’aun.
A general warm-up and stretch will bring us into neigong and breathing exercises. Afterwards, we will pursue the art of jib in gong training as it directly relates to how we should be directing the movements inherit in t’ai chi ch’uan.
Exploring the benefits of qigong exercises will reveal how these
movements can promote joint rehabilitation, muscle tone and general overall strength and flexibility.
We will then progress
into the Yang style form of 8 Brocades, perfecting this series of movements.
