TCRC Meetup - Note from Sean

Hey Climbers,

Just a few notes on this happiest of days, Friday!

1. MN Climbing Co-op Comp!  This event is happening tomorrow, 9/24, from 12-8.  Several Meetup climbers are participating as problem setters and as competitors.  If you are in the area and want to check it out, stop by.  It will be a great chance to see the gym and take in some of the excitement that comps always bring.  Visit for more info and location.

2. On that note, the MN Climbing Co-op has signed on to be our newest sponsor!  We are still working out the final details, but we will likely get to host one night per month where Meetup members get a discounted day pass.  Stay tuned for more info on that as things develop.

3. The TCRC Meetup Social!  This special Thursday night gathering is coming up on 9/29 at VE and Pizza Luce.  Please visit the event page here for more details and to RSVP.  It is important that people RSVP because we have agreed to call Pizza Luce early next week with a potential head count so that they can add staff to cover us, so please, please, please, head over to the event page and RSVP soon! (And bring $1 to contribute to Meetup dues!)

4. Where are you climbing this weekend?  Fall weather is a great time to get outside!  Climbing in winter hats looks way cooler than climbing in sweaty tank tops.  If you are going outside and are looking to gather more climbers, try using the Suggest a New Meetup button located right under the Welcome, Twin Cities Rock Climbers! banner.  This gives you the power to put a date/time/location out there, and if enough others are also interested, the event will automatically get added to the calendar.  How does it do that?!?

That is all.  Time to go downward dog for a while.  I have a comp to crush in.
