Bells Ringing Peace Around the World

A global bell-ringing event. In the spirit of the 1918 Armistice Bells, ringing to signal the need to end violent warfare, there will be bells this year made by veterans working with sculptor Gita Ghei--a "liquid" bell, a bell made from melted artillery, and the PCC Bell Choir.

Join World Storytelling Day in over 25 countries for the evening. Stories and music of bells--ringing out warning and love for our neighbors all over the world.

"Bells Ringing Peace Around the World" is sponsored by Veterans for Peace, Chapter 27, and the Plymouth Congregational Church Global Committee with support from the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Reception and refreshments at 6 pm, program at 7 pm.
