Call for sponsors and year-end report

Hello Visualizers, this is just a quick note for everyone, including
some of you who maybe haven’t or couldn’t go to a meeting lately.

We need to start off with a request. While we’re grateful for
everything Clockwork has generously given to us in terms of space,
food and drink, it’s time for us to see if we can find another sponsor
or two, specifically to help out with the food. If you know of a
company that would be interested in sponsoring something for us, let
me know. The company will get a smart group of people headed their
way, a shoutout at the meetings, a logo on the meetup page, and maybe
we could work something else out as well. If you need us to talk to a
manager/marketer type person about the membership of the meetup group
and how we could make something good happen for everyone, just let us
know.

Our meeting cap of 40 people is still being worked on. Clockwork
should be getting a larger meeting space in the next few months, but
there is no definite on when, so we just have to be patient. That
said, if you know of a space that would be a good candidate for us to
make a permanent shift to, do let us know and we can discuss whether
it will be a good fit. In the meantime, please try your best to keep
the RSVP list accurate and up to date so that meeting is as full as
can be

THANK YOU all for everything that’s happened this year!

We have managed to fill that room every month and have interesting and
exciting presentations every time. The presentations have always been
from the folks in the community and its amazing how volunteers step up
every month to share with the group. We are firm believers that
everyone in the group has something to share, so we’d love to see some
new faces presenting in this coming year.

It is always impressive how we can have presentations from such a wide
variety of people in terms of backgrounds and skill-sets and everyone
has a good time. We hope our group continues to grow, both in size
and in diversity.

Thanks again for being awesome. The group kinda runs itself and we do
minimal work each month to pull it all together. This is mostly
driven because you all are good, open, understanding, and sharing
people. Keep up the good work.

Please let us know if you have a recommendation for future meetings.

Happy New Year!
