For many years the Walker has hosted December screenings of the British Advertising Awards (now called the Arrows). If you've been to them before, you already know why you might want to go again. If you haven't, you might wonder why anyone would pay to watch 150 commercials in a row. The reason of course is because they are 150 of the best commercials of the year. Commercials that make you laugh, commercials that amaze your eyes, and commercials that stop and make you think, all coming at you in a relentless 75 minute roller coaster ride. The Walker offers dozens of showing each year and they all sell out in advance. But I did get 9 tickets for Monday the 26th. Being the day after Christmas, I'm guessing most people will have the day off. Since the tickets also come with a free admission to the museum, I thought we might meet a bit early, at 4pm and check out some of the exhibits for an hour or so (the museum is normally closed on Mondays, but they have a different schedule for this day because most people have it off). The screening starts at 6pm and we should be out of there by 7:30. The tickets are $10 each. Since I have a limited number of them, and we'll be using two of them ourselves, the other seven will go to the first seven people to pay me for them. You can either send the money via Paypal to [masked], or ask me for an address to send a check to (or just give me the money if you happen to see me). In the meantime, you can sign up on the wait list and once I have your payment, I'll add you to the RSVP list so that you can see that you're confirmed. Do note though that I can only offer a refund if I can resell your ticket.
