Twin Cities Dads Group was started by two guys with a simple goal: Connecting Dads. We know that being an active and involved Father has a set of challenges that other Fathers can relate to. We believe that having a group that understands Dads, can be of great benefit to individuals, and to their families.

John Francis

John Francis is a St. Paul father of two daughters, enjoys working from home for the past 15 years and being fully engaged with his family, kids, and community. John is the Founder of Fathers Eve (, an event held each year on the day before Father's Day, to celebrate Fatherhood. John started the path to this group in February of 2016 when he attended the Dad2.0 Summit in San Diego and met the City Dads Group. Knowing the value a group could bring to Minnesota, he founded Twin Cities Dads Group.

Chris Brandenburg

Chris Brandenburg is a Stay At Home Dad from the East Metro suburbs of western Wisconsin. When he isn't making sawdust in the woodshop, he volunteers with his daughter's school district, parent's club, and gymnastics club. His wife hails from the south side of Minneapolis, so with friends and family all over the Metro, the Twin Cities Dads Group is a natural fit. Chris met John early in 2016, and together they started the group.

John and Chris would both like to extend a warm welcome to all Dads. We want you to join us, because the success of Twin Cities Dads is not because of the Founders, its because of the Members. Guys like you, who are raising their kids, strengthening their families, and rocking the Dad role fully.
