Everyone is welcome to share and to learn about the practices of Buddhism including peace, harmony, meditation, wisdom and compassion. No particular school of Buddhism is emphasized, and members may have interests in Mahayana, Theravada, Tibetan, Zen or other established forms of Buddhism, or members may have a general interest in Buddhism or meditation.
This group provides a safe environment for people to share their interests in Buddhism. Out Meetup format is to gather at a Minneapolis coffeeshop/cafe for 1-1/2 hours, each person shares a brief introduction about themselves, we begin a roundtable discussion allowing all members to join in, an introductory Q&A session allows new members to ask general questions about Buddhism, a longer discussion follows on a set topic, book discussion, or whatever ideas members bring up.

Proselytizing, solicitation, event listings, advertising, or selling are not appropriate. Members are encouraged to RSVP Yes or No for monthly Meetups to help organizers in event planning. Members who do not attend meetups or visit online may be removed after 12 months of inactivity. The organizers reserve the right to remove inappropriate content, and to ban members who act inappropriately.
