What we're about

Unruly Cantonese Language & Activities (U.C.L.A)...phonetically “you see el ei.” This group is not for the faint of heart sensitive people. We are active Cantonese speakers and learners in LA who want to do fun things and not just the same Karaoke and binge drinking! Asians shouldn’t drink btw! Haha! Some sarcastic remarks and contents may be offensive for some people, but we keep it real, because we like to laugh! Haha! We are bold working professionals who like to have fun and live life with an adventure in mind who share the interest in learning or improve our Cantonese skills and become familiar with historical Cantonese influences around the world. We believe Cantonese is a beautiful language, and as long as you can speak it, you can have a lot of fun laughs! LOL! 😂

We like to organize charity events, shooting ranges with golf clubs, guns/rifles, and archery, race car track driving, health seminars and workshops, bowling, travel to exotic destinations, fine dining from Michelin Star restaurants to hole in the wall Malaysian or Thai joints, High Teas, Latin ball-room dancing, performing arts, broadway plays, white water rafting, kick-boxing, camping, mountain biking, cooking class, running, snowboarding in Whistler Canada, Argentina, Japan, scuba-diving in Cozumel, Great Barrier Reef, Philippines Palawan, seafood in Thailand, attend art galleries, enjoy old Skool hip/hop RNB music to classical symphony, concert outings, summer nights at Hollywood Bowl, Hong Kong movies, and more!!!

We are financially comfortable people who don’t want to limit ourselves to only board games, video games, karaoke, hiking and binge drinking, but yet we want to connect with real people not just through social media!

We are definitely not drug users, religious fanatics, political extremist, uncultured, alcoholics, stalkers, flakes, not paying your bill, poor fashion sense, bad hair, and ugly shoes! 😬

We want cool professional people to join our group who speak or want to learn the wonderful culturally rich language Cantonese! Together lets see what LA has to offer! U.C.L.A.
