LAUG - Sept 2013 - "Ask an Atlassian"

"Ask an Atlassian" Guest Appearance!

This month we've got John Inder over from the Atlassian Amsterdam support office who is going to do a "Ask an Atlassian" session where you can ask him anything about running Jira & Confluence.  If you've ever raised a support issue with Atlassian and John has been involved, you know it's serious!  He is also often on Atlassian Answers with a massive 10,000+ karma score.  This is a rare opportunity to get some real insights into running Jira & Confluence.  Don't miss out!

Why come along?

  • Free beer!
  • Free Atlassian swag will be given away!
  • "Ask an Atlassian" - get your support questions answered
  • Meet other Atlassian users and ask the questions

New Atlassian AUG Page

Atlassian have just started their own AUG service for us to use & we have our very own page.  Ideally, Atlassian would like us to RSVP through the new site but we will be running both in parallel for a while.

Thanks to everyone who turned up, as always, we'd love to hear any feedback. You can send your thoughts direct to Atlassian on http://atlss.in/augfeedback or if you prefer, to me on [masked]

It was a great evening meetup with UAG members including John from Atlassian. Big thanks to Dan Hardiker for the dark ark techniques and specially for the dinner and also thanks to all for making it nice.

Yes, me too. Although I'm not on the technical side of Confluence, it's really inteesting to get an insight into what goes on in the background. It's very helpful to know more about the technical admin role and what's causing certain problems. Free beer and T-shirts are good too. :)

Really enjoyed last night. Both the talk and the q&A sessions were great.
