We have completed our 6 weeks of educating ourselves on "What Diabetes is" and "What it isn't". We now have a grasp on how we can improve and even REVERSE it. We are taking the next steps to encourage and support one another on this journey. Come out and join us this for our groups sessions and Plant Based Cooking classes taking place. ALL are welcome and we encourage you to come and join the fight to BEAT DIABETES!

1 in 3 Americans has diabetes or prediabetes. That doesn't have to be your story. We have completed a lecture series instructed by Dr. Wes Youngberg, diabetes expert and author of Goodbye Diabetes, and Brenda Davis, world-renown author and plant-based dietician, as they guided us through a hope-filled 8 sessions to reverse diabetes and RECLAIM your health! Now it's time to put what we learned into action, and get to know some pretty cool people who are also on their journey to becoming healthier and overcoming diabetes. We are excited! Now that we have the education, we are implementing what we have learned from our 8 week session. Come and join us for the SUPPER CLUB every first Thursday of the month! Here we continue to learn about ways to overcome diabetes, as well as share a meal, enjoy support, and go home every month with a positive outlook! For the first 8 weeks, we had the amazing Chef, Nicole Braxton, owner and operator of AW7D (Around The World in 7 Days) Pop Up restaurant & Social Enterprise. Sharing amazing healthy, tasty foods that help to reverse, prevent and manage diabetes. Now, we are taking what we've learned and trying our hand at preparing meals. Sharing our experiences, ideas and good food with one another, inspired to continue the journey to beating Diabetes! • IMPORTANT TO KNOW This is a continuation of our Diabetes Undone Series. If you missed the first 8 week session, not to worry! You are still welcome to join us, and become apart of our community! The next 8 week session will be announced, but you will still be able to glean the education that was gained from the previous program, and prepare for the next!
