Title: A friendly introduction to deep learning

We'll take a pictorial journey through neural networks, including how they are built and how they get trained. Then we'll overview some applications in computer vision, natural language processing, and even some cutting edge ones like image generation with GANs. No formulas involved, no code involved, and only basic math required to understand.

Luis Serrano is the Content Lead for the School of Artificial Intelligence at Udacity. Previously, he worked at Google as a machine learning engineer in the YouTube video recommendations team. He has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan, a Bachelors and Masters in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer in the Laboratory of Combinatorics and Mathematical Informatics at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
