Will be an easy backpack or bicycle pack to Glenn Trail Campground. Planning to explore the surround areas.
The trail-head starts at the intersection of Hwy 39 and Forest Route 2N25.
It's an easy level 6.25 miles to the camp site on a paved road.
What to bring: will be good for try your camping equipment. Tent, good sleeping bag, air sleeping pad, warm clothes, food for 3 meals, gas stove.
Water is available in a nearby stream, but it will have to be treated. There are vault restroom, fire rings, and tables.
Directions: From Interstate 210 in Azusa, exit Azusa Ave. Drive 12 miles north on San Gabriel Can. Rd. (Hwy. 39) to the trailhead at the West Fork of the San Gabriel River. [masked], [masked]
Parking: parking lot - You'll need a Forest Adventure Pass cost $5 dollars to park at the trail-head, and a fire permit for your chemical stoves. There are BBQ's at the camp and we can have a firewood.
