From the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum website: "Don't miss this very special event on December 15th in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Apollo XVII and the last walk on the Moon, including the unveiling of a full-scale replica of an Apollo Lunar Excursion Module (LEM), and discussion panels featuring astronauts and NASA officials from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs." Featuring Astronauts Jim Lovell & Fred Haise of the Apollo XIII mission and others at 10 am, followed by a panel that will include Astronaut & Senator John Glenn. The event is free and open to the public, although there are charges and reservations required for the Luncheon and the Lunar Excursion Module Unveiling and Dinner. Events start at 10 am but the time listed below is the suggested arrival as this is sure to be a HUGE EVENT!
