What we're about

The Unitarian Universalist Central NC Outdoor Group (UUCOG) is an intentional community of members and friends of Unitarian Universalist fellowships in the Community of Central North Carolina Cluster who want to get together and share their enjoyment of the outdoors. Just a few examples of activities are walking, hiking, cycling, paddling, bird watching and camping. For the more adventurous, members might like to organize activities such as hang gliding, rock climbing or skiing.

UUCOG was started by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh and is run by volunteers. There are no fees or dues to join, but you should be a member or friend of a UU fellowship in the UUCCNC (http://www.meetup.com/UUCOGNC/pages/UU_Community_of_Central_North_Carolina_Cluster/) Cluster which are listed on a page under the Pages tab. UUCOG hopes to encourage enjoying the fun of the outdoors with new and old UU friends.

UUCOG uses the Meetup.com platform as hosting software. You must sign up to Meetup before you can join UUCOG. UUCOG’s Meetup site is only partially visible to the public in an effort to respect member’s privacy. Members can see additional information such as the location of upcoming events, RSVPs to events, member lists, photos, discussion boards and other details.
