Unitarian Universalism is a theologically diverse religion that encourages people to seek their own spiritual paths. You'll find people from all kinds of backgrounds, representing many faith traditions, and on all kinds of spiritual journeys, in our congregations. We like to be in community, are committed to social justice and action as individuals and congregations, and rely on covenants not creeds to bind us together. All of our local churches are welcoming and inclusive of LGBTQ people and families. You can be yourself here, and be loved, unconditionally. A good place to begin learning about Unitarian Universalism is to start with what we believe and our principles: http://www.uua.org/beliefs/what-we-believe.
But you absolutely don't need to be a UU to hang out with us! We like to connect, learn, grow, and have fun along the way. We'll post programs and events here on Meetup that we think will be of interest to the broader community, and especially to seekers. We invite you to come out for one of our events listed on Meetup, or visit one of our churches on Sunday morning! Every now and then we'll try to host some Meetup-only get togethers just to meet each other and chat.
