TOMER SHARON

VP, Head of UX at WeWork

Tomer is Head of User Experience at WeWork in New York City leading a team that designs work and living spaces, communities, and services around the world. Formerly Senior UX Researcher at Google Search, Tomer is the author of the books, Validating Product Ideas through Lean User Research(2016) and, It’s Our Research: Getting stakeholder buy-in for user experience research projects (2012). He founded and led The Israeli Chapter of the User Experience Professionals’ Association and has been preaching and teaching UX at Google’s LaunchPad program , a bootcamp for early-stage startups around the world, in conferences, and at Treehouse . Tomer holds a master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. He is @tsharon on Twitter and Instagram

GLEREN MENEGHIN
Product Designer at Adobe

Gleren Meneghin is an Experience Designer at Adobe in NYC — working across a range of products for devices large and small. From product strategy to designing compelling user experiences, his work helps deliver major product features that impact the creative community.

Prior to Adobe, Gleren was an Art Director with London-based design studio The Workshop, leading strategic and multidisciplinary designs for companies including Social Media Week and The Harnisch Foundation. Originally from France, he holds a degree from the French institute of Design & Communication.

When not designing, Gleren is an accomplished musician and recognised on the world stage as a top pipe band drummer. You also can listen to his monthly selection of innovative bagpipe music on Unreel.fm (http://unreel.fm/).

RONNIE BATTISTA

Ronnie is a senior executive with 20 years experience visioningand delivering creative and profitable cross-channel interactive experienceswith bottom line impact. Early in his career as a Business Analyst, his projectexperiences highlighted a gap between what Business and IT groups were askingfor and what customers and employees actually needed or wanted. It was at this critical junction of Business,IT and real human beings that Ronnie found his calling in ExperienceDesign. Ronnie is the Practice Lead forExperience Strategy and Design at Slalom Consulting. He has served in UX leadership positions atAccenture, Dun and Bradstreet, Gextech (Spain), and MISI Company (now NTT Data)and Slalom Consulting.

Ronnie has provided experience strategy and design leadership toover 120 companies from strategic C-suite visioning to UX project execution. Inaddition to co-creating the Rutgers Mini-Masters in User Experience Design(where he is both Program Director and Lead Adjunct Professor), Ronnie createdand teaches the “Customer Centric Management” course for the Rutgers School ofBusiness Executive Education program, working directly with corporations tohelp train their personnel on Customer Experience. He is international speaker on the topic ofExperience Design, with presentations in China, Germany, London, India, Russiaand Mexico.

BEVERLY MAY

Beverly is the founder and Executive Director of the UXies. She has nearly 2 decades of experience in tech, product development and UX and has helped launch hundreds of new digital initiatives at digital agencies, tech incubators, startups, major publishers and in Peacekeeping at the UN. Beverly was until recently CTO & Head of Product and UX at a 40-person social video mixing software company in Berlin, Germany. Prior to that, she most recently taught UX at General Assembly and founded and led Oxford Tech, a boutique UX and product strategy consultancy in NY and San Francisco that she’s run for the past 6 years. Over her career, Beverly has helped conceive, design and launch new digital initiatives for Wireless Generation/ Amplify Education, T-Mobile, Pitney Bowes, Hearst, Rodale, Diageo, Nike, MCI, Oxford University, RealAge, Weil Lifestyle, Schwab, Novartis, Goldman Sachs, AOL, Royal Bank and dozens of other brands and startups.

Beverly has an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford, a Master’s degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, and a BA from University of Toronto. She is a triple EU- Canadian- US citizen and a regular mentor and public speaker on UX and product strategy for incubators, conferences and UX events.

MATTHEW WEBER

Lecturer and Class Developer at Columbia University

Matthew Weber is an award winning UX designer and executive, who has had his work showcased by Apple and has lectured at NASA. He has a passion for making data easy to use, and is currently VP of UX and Design at Zoomdata, as well as a lecturer at Columbia University. Matthew is the founder of the UX + Data Meetup, and is a former advisory board member for the UX Awards.
