Do you have a favorite UX/IA/UI book?

I am reading a book recommended to me by a professor. It's called Simple and Usable by Giles Colborne. Simple but important facts about how to keep your design simple. I'm finding it quite useful.

What do you do (or want to do) in the UX field?

I am a creative director now. But I'm looking for something in the HCI field. I want what I do to impact someone's life or experience and make a difference. And UX mixes that desire as well as my love for art and design.

Introduction

I am currently pursuing a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction at DePaul University. I live and work in Chicago.
