James is Head of UX Research at Auto Trader, and previous to that he was UX Research Manager at Shop Direct. Prior to going ‘client-side’, James spent 16 years in various roles at agencies in London and Manchester, including Havas Lynx, TBWA, iris and Code Computerlove. James became passionate about evidence-led design, and understanding what makes people click, after he ran his first user test by accident in 2000. He will also go through the basics of UX sharing how he usually approaches projects.
