We are organising a (roughly) monthly seminar on Data Science, each time inviting an internationally renowned researcher over to Ghent University to share their vision and experience on various specific areas of expertise in Data Science research.
In this way, we hope to build up a community of researchers from different fields, interested in further developing the foundations of Data Science, or in applying state-of-the-art Data Science techniques in their work. While the seminars are aimed primarily at UGent MSc and PhD students and researchers, they are open to all.
