Canberra Multicultural Festival 5 Feb - 7 Feb

Hi guys and dolls,

Things are starting to move in the Multicultural Front.

I was contacted by Jessica Glasgow from the festival team 2 days ago and she requested a photo of Uke Canberra with a blurb of our activities. Then shortly later, got an email from Graham Cooke, a volunteer journalist seeking an interview over the phone for info that could be processed into a media release featuring Ukuleles Canberra.

We have not been advised about the time we will be performing but I understand that there are no slots left on Sat 6 Feb, so it looks like a Sunday performance. Better for us, really, considering our program on Sat 6 Feb!!

I' have organised a meeting with Graham at the Coffee Club, Belconnen Mall tomorrow Sat 16 at 9:00 am for a chat, here is an open invitation for anyone interested can come along for the ride :-)
