BLEXIT & The NEW Underground Railroad Meetup
LOCATION: Drury Inn (Olive & 270) DATE: 2nd THURSDAY of each month. CHANGE EFFECTIVE WITH 2/11/16 MEETUP: We are implementing some big changes indefinitely: — The meeting time will be EARLIER — 5:45 p.m. — We will be gathering in the lobby in front of the Drury conference rooms — Then, around 6 p.m. we will be moving into the on-premise Applebee’s for our meeting. — We will also be ending about an hour earlier, about 8 p.m. We are implementing this change because a similar group has had good success changing to this format, finding that its members prefer coming directly from work and getting home earlier. This Meetup is a "safehouse" designed specifically for those who seek to finally obtain the freedom promised by Dr. Martin Luther King, overcoming those last few remaining chains of slavery: racism, dependency, and the self-defeating and erroneous belief that their progress in some way depends upon the beneficence of White people. The leader of the Meetup is Mason Weaver, a former Black militant and radio call-in show host, and the author of It's OK to Leave the Plantation, Tribalism, and other books. Today, he is an activist, a powerful public speaker, a businessman, and an entrepreneur. He appears regularly on national TV, cable, and news programs.
