Unitarian Universalist Society of the High Desert
Rev. Lee Marie Sanchez will lead the service. This is how she describes her service. Are Unitarian Universalists a “People of Faith?” My answer is, yes. Experiences of awe, wonder and mystery, tell me, yes. As well as times when I am overwhelmed and want to feel that I am inadequate in the face my life’s journey, I say, yes. Traditionally, UU’s have held their faith up to Reason, Love, Doubt and the Imagination. If this is intriguing to you, we want to welcome you and welcome you home. Come and join us and be sure to invite your friends and family.

What we're about

Public Group

Our UU group offers a liberal oasis in the high desert. We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of every human being, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or gender preference. We believe in the interdependent web of all existence, of which we are a part. Grounded in science and reason, we welcome a diversity of opinions and beliefs as we share our spiritual journeys. We are the Unitarian Universalist Society of the High Desert.

If you feel a need to continue your spiritual growth, but you want to be free to develop your own philosphy or belief system unhampered by traditional religious dogma, we will offer support for your spiritual journey.

If you lean to the left politically and need a forum of like-minded people to share ideas with, we welcome you.
