Joy has a master’ in Women’s Spirituality and is an Interfaith Minister, the founder of In Her Name Circles (San Mateo), Author of Celebrate the Divine Feminine, and is a Transformational Life Coach, Hypnotherapist, and Reiki Master.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, also called the Virgin of Guadalupe, is perhaps Mexico's most popular religious and cultural image. A symbol of significant importance to Catholics, Our Lady of Guadalupe was a manifestation of the Virgin Mary in the Americas witnessed by an indigenous peasant, Juan Diego, in 1531. Too many Our Lady of Guadalupe is the beloved Mother who hears the cries of her people and offers comfort, support and help in times of need.
