Small business owners are the driving force for positive change in the world. We create jobs, and stimulate the economy while making a better tomorrow. While this is an exciting journey, it can also be difficult with pitfalls. According to the Bureau of Labor of Statistics 20% of small businesses fail in their first year, 30% in their second year, and 50% after five years.
We’ve all heard this haunting statistic, but what we don’t hear enough about are the actionable steps small business owners can take to immensely improve their success rate.
That’s why we meet as a community to lift each other up and celebrate our successes. At every workshop and meetup, we help new and veteran small business owners navigate the maze. It all comes down to connections, community and education.
United Business Club is on a mission to reverse this statistic, and we’re doing this through mentorship, education and marketing support. UBC provides small businesses with valuable resources and education to ensure success.
What makes this community different than others? We’re glad you asked.
