What we’re about

United Hope for Animals is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs.

Through our Shelter Support Program, we have partnered with the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center, in Baldwin Park, to give homeless pets the best chance possible of finding new homes. Currently, we advocate for approximately 60 shelter pets a month and have had great success getting these pets into safe and loving - adoptive homes.

It all starts with our "Glamour Shot Day," when we visit the Baldwin Park shelter where we meet and get to know the pets that have been selected for us to network. Each pet gets a portrait style photograph, is videotaped and a description is written based on what we know and have learned about them. We then post their information on social media platforms; pet adoption websites, Instagram, etc.

If you love animals and would like to be a part of making their lives better, join us! We need volunteer animal handlers, photographers (experience needed), video narrators, writers, adoption coordinators, and people who want to help by uploading videos to YouTube and posting pet profiles online.
