What we're about

VISION Statement: Centered in God, we co-create a world that works for all.

Mission Statement: Healing our world through prayerful living, inspired teaching and helping others.

Our hearts call us to Joy, ever present no matter the outer circumstances. We are a Peace Center, exploring and teaching new ways of being in relationship. We are committed to Spiritual Growth, and using that growth to Make a Difference in the world. We value our Community, knowing we are not meant to walk alone. We choose Compassion as our way of responding to every person and event. We are grounded in an ever-increasing love of God.

The values of Unity in the Foothills arose from the hearts of our people, and are the foundation of all our decisions and practices.

The light of God surrounds us...We are the light. The love of God enfolds us...We are the love. The power of God protects us...We are the power. The presence of God watches over us...We are the presence. Wherever we are, God is, and all is well!

Spiritual Services via Zoom w/ Guest Speaker Deacon Samantha Dennison

"Renewed Strength" Presented by Deacon Samantha Dennison. Each New Year many of us start off with a full-out sprint. We commit to grand goals promising to ourselves and everyone on social media that we are going to write that book, lose 10 pounds or rocket our business to the top. We may purchase fad diet supplies, pretty yoga pants or the most popular business course, all to support our commitments. Then as the days pass and we get back into old routines, we begin to feel tired, weak, bored. Before we know it, Negative Nelly is knocking bringing thoughts of unworthiness, fear, and procrastination. Let Divine Inheritance answer the knock this year. The Divine Inheritance that is overflowing with special strengths, persistent power, and chariots of change. Love offering gratefully accepted. Please go to https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/unityinthefoothills to donate. Thank you! Unity in the Foothills is associated with Unity Worldwide Ministries. When you come home to a service at our Spiritual Center, you will be warmly greeted by a community of loving souls. We enjoy celebrating Spirit’s unifying Power and Presence with music, prayer, meditation, hugs, and teachings that put powerful spiritual tools in your pocket so that you may live life abundantly. We are guided by the Christ within all of us to love you, to bless you, to appreciate you, and to behold the Christ as you. Our services start at 11:00 and usually last an hour and 15 minutes. We can’t wait to see you! Our Spiritual Leader: Reverend Carolyn Swift Jones is an ordained minister with The United Metaphysical Churches, a spiritual organization that shares the same theological principles that the Unity Church holds dear. Reverend Carolyn is also a professional Spiritual Counselor, a practice she has been involved with for over thirty years working with many people around the globe to help bring them into closer resonance with their Higher Selves. Believing fully in the words of the Great Master Teacher Jesus when he referred to our ability to do the things that he did, she facilitates a meditational group called "Many Hands Make Light Work", the focus of which is healing for our sweet planet earth. She is thrilled to be the Spiritual Leader of Unity in the Foothills and beholds the Christ in each and every dear soul of our loving and growing community.

A Course in Miracles via ZOOM

Online event

This is an open discussion group. All are welcome. A Course in Miracles is a book written and edited by Helen Schucman containing a self-study curriculum to bring about what it calls a "spiritual transformation". Schucman believed that an "inner voice", which she identified as Jesus, guided her writing. A Course in Miracles has been described as a unique, universal, self-study spiritual thought system that teaches that the way to Love and Inner Peace is through Forgiveness.
