How to find us

There should be a sign outside the door on the day of the event. From 6.15 onwards, ring the bell for TechMeetup.Space, walk up the stairs to the first floor and follow the signs!

Join us as we venture deep into Unity's core... powered by pure ARTISTRY, daring to customise the very interface itself!

The DUUG is happening on Wednesday the 25th of November, hosted by TechMeetup.space on the north west corner of Westmoreland St. and Fleet St., Dublin - from[masked]pm!

Map here (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Next+to+The+Palace+Bar%2C+Fleet+Street%2C+Templebar%2C+Dublin+2%2C+ie). Pano here (https://photosynth.net/view.aspx?cid=d1179dc0-933f-4104-89ee-80f2eb44a3f1) (allowing you to pierce the very veil of time and space and peer into... our VENUE! =).

Presentation A at 6.20pm is Leeann Hamilton. Leeann is the lead artist at Nebula Interactive and will be giving the talk, Indecent Exposure: Please Tell Me Unity Can Do That Before I Animate Everything??? (Unity for 2D art and Animation)

Presentation B kicks off at 7.00pm with the talk, Editor Extensions: Allowing devs to let their hair down (customising the Unity Editor Interface) which will be given by Ronan Tumelty, developer at SoapBox Labs.

Breaking tradition ("TRADITION!"), on the day we'll have a third presentation! Presentation C begins at 8.00pm: Your Personal Robot Slave: How Artomatix Cloud helps Unity Game Developers, from Eric Risser (CTO, Artomatix).

Here's a link to a video of a talk given at a previous DUUG - Raphael Savina's demonstration of the Google Tango Tablet (https://youtu.be/pi74dF4ojqk). Pardon the video/sound quality, we're learning as we go... Raphael's slides can be found here (https://goo.gl/e7V9EH).

Stick around for our playtesting session and 5-minute open mics! There's plenty of time to hang out, have some fun and maybe find an answer to that Unity problem that's been driving you a wee bit mad. We've all been there.

This month we're also introducing...

RSVP, ASAP! We'll see you there!
