Join us for a weekly Tuesday night board game night at Hex & Co, the board game cafe in Morningside Heights. The price is $10 per person, $5 with a valid student ID
We get about 2-4 tables per week. As such, there can be a limit to the number of players we can accommodate. If there is sufficient space, others will be welcome to join.
**** Please try to keep your RSVPs accurate and change your RSVP if you realize you won't be able to make it - it allows people on the waitlist to attend, and allows us to give a more accurate number to the cafe of how many people we will be expecting. ****
When you pay the $10 fee, tell the cashier that you're with the board gaming meetup. They'll direct you to our table.
Also, please arrive on time. If we don't use all of the tables they reserve for us, they'll free up what we don't use for other guests to use, and there might not be room at the tables we have. Also, if you arrive late, everyone else may already be in a game.
Sometimes some of us arrive earlier than 7. If you want to game before then, post a comment and see if anyone else will be arriving early
We've tended to play more mid-weight Eurogames, but we're open to playing a variety of games (provided there's interest and someone knows the game well enough to teach it). Just to give an idea for the kind of games we've played: Sheriff of Nottingham, Witness, Seven Wonders, Penny Press, Concordia, Deep Sea Adventure, Mr Jack, The Expanse Board Game, Betrayal at Baldur's Gate, Telestrations, Sonar, Libertalia, Mascarade, Magic Maze, Sagrada, Favor of the Pharaoh, Great Western Trail, The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31, Specter Ops, Battle for Rokugan, Clank In Space!, Photosynthesis, Azul, Bears vs Babies, Small World, Scythe, Impulse, Dinosaur Island, Terraforming Mars, Splendor, 13 Clues, Master Thief, Trains, Smash Up, Roll Through the Ages, Secret Hitler, Trickerion: Legends of Illusion, Kemet, Fury of Dracula and Tzolk'in.
Hex & Co has 1000+ games to play and plenty to buy, it has locally-roasted coffee & a wide range of food options. You can check out their website at http://hexnyc.com/
