What's up peeps!

In the spirit of urban collaboration, UPC is linking up with our friendly ladies at To-Gather Friend Group, another great local meetup organized by one of our very own, Kelley Rucker. The two of us share a similar vision for the type of growth and vibes we wish to see in the urban community. Join Kelley's group here to keep up with her future events: http://meetu.ps/c/48Gvp/60lmH/d

Summer has been heating up (slight smirk), but it's still in full swing! Plenty of events to look forward to as we coast into August. So let's jump on board with a DC staple, Truckeroo.

Taken from the website: "Truckeroo is a monthly festival held at The Bullpen that showcases the hottest food trucks in the DC area. Held April through September, Truckeroo is a family friendly event and features live music, cold drinks, games, and more."

If you've never been to the bullpen, it's a unique outdoor hangout area outside of Nationals Park (DC baseball stadium). From the website: "With live music, cold beers, food trucks, and free admission, The Bullpen is the best place to pregame and unwind for both baseball fans and locals alike." So consider it if you ever want to check out a game!

Anyways, if you're new to UPC, you will soon learn that we always like to check out an another venue around 9PM, typically a spot that plays "our" music and hopefully has room to do a 2 step. It helps shake things up so people don't get stuck in small groups. We're still debating this next spot. So if you know of something in the area, please let us know!!!

UPC Fridays/Saturdays is a monthly social event where anyone and everyone, regular attendees and first-timers alike, can kick back and relax with fresh new faces. Most people come solo and typically half the attendees are first timers. It's purely social, casual, and always a great time.

Bring a friend or three or come solo! See you then!

See you then!
