SUMMARY:

Accessibility is essential for developers and organizations that want to create high-quality websites and web tools, and not exclude people from using their products and services.

Our colleague Vasil will talk about VMware’s experience in making vSphere web client accessible and will share the good practices developed during the implementation of accessibility in our software.
You will hear about aspects of application accessibility such as colors, focus indication and keyboard navigation, integration with screen readers etc. You will also learn about the specific process of integration of these aspects into a web application.

Join the meetup to hear about the lessons we have learned and see how you can develop the full potential of your products and services to be accessible to people of all abilities.

ON ACCESSIBILITY:

Accessibility is the design of products, devices, services, or environments for people with disabilities. It is strongly related to universal design, which is the process of creating products that are usable, by people with the widest possible range of abilities – from people with disabilities to older people, people in rural areas, and people in developing countries.
