Burlington Technical Center student Seth Rossman will showcase a Tic Tac Toe intelligent game board project. The computer player analyzes the board to determine its best move or to detect when a game is over. There were a few challenges to this work:
Designing a Data Model to best represent the board.
Building a board of nested lists from the 2-D array.
Associating board clicks with array coordinates.
Efficiently evaluating current and proposed moves.
Seth will highlight the use of Repl.it for code editing, debugging, and version control. The talk will combine a narrative and focus demonstrations. This talk is for developers of all levels.
