What we're about

Have you recently been diagnosed with Bell's Palsy or other form of facial palsy? Are you dealing with long term effects from facial paralysis caused by Bell's Palsy, Ramsey Hunt Syndrome, Acoustic Neuroma or other condition? Are you supporting someone dealing with this and want to know more?

Our Meet Up is for those who have been touched by facial paralysis and who would like to meet others who are going through or who have been through the same experience.

Ours will be a group for information and support. We will have a chance to share our experiences, learn from invited experts, and gain advice from one another. If you have questions, we can help: Everything from who to seek for treatment, to how to cope with facial changes, to how to talk to others about your condition.

We will meet about once a month at a location in the Lower Mainland to be determined. We may be able to move our location each month.

We are open to suggested content and topics for our gatherings, and we welcome anyone that would like to assist with organizing our meetings.

Our first meeting is January 23, 2020 at 6:30 pm at the McGill Library Meeting Room in North Burnaby.

*There will be an opportunity in future to have virtual attendance for those out of the area wishing to connect with others.
