What we're about

This is the ONLY Meetup in the greater Portland area that celebrates ALL things Geek and Nerd. We love Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, The Orville, Marvel movies and comics, Babylon 5, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, DC movies and comics and so much more. If its Sci-fi/Fantasy or Superhero related, odds are we want to see it, read it, listen to it or experience it any way we can!

We will have monthly meetups over food and drinks, take group movie outings and explore Northwest comic cons together. This is a chance to meet people who share your interests, enjoy their camaraderie and build lasting friendships.

Game night and pizza

316 SE 123rd Ave C3

Let's play some games and hangout at Vault 31. Please bring a board game (if you have one) that can be played by a group. We will compile the games and decide by committee. Maybe we can even play some Mario Kart or Halo.

Walking night at PIR

Portland International Raceway

Join us for the Lights and Leashes a walking night of the Winter Wonderland display at PIR. Please feel free to bring your dog(s) just make sure to bundle them up as it can be cold on the track. Don't have a dog? That's okay, you are still welcome to come and enjoy the lights. This is one of the few nights that no cars are allowed on the track and we will walk most of the track which is about 2 miles. The cost is $7 per person. Parking is free, we could carpool to make it easier. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. There will be food carts and a mobile Starbucks. If you have any questions, please let me know. (http://winterwonderlandportland.com/special-events/)

Unlimited arcade games night

Ground Kontrol

Ground Kontrol becomes 21 and older at 5 pm and will be having their unlimited free play with a cover charge of $5. Ground Kontrol is an arcade with two bars featuring older arcade games like Ms. Pac-man, Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles, and newer themed pinball such as Game of Thrones and Dr. Who. There are two full service bars and a kitchen that offers twists on childhood favorites. Parking can be a challenge, I recommend taking the Max from PIR as the Max will drop you off right in front of the door. I'm planning to grab a table in the red lighted bar for people to find me and expect people to be popping by between playing games. If you don't see me, look for me at Addams family pinball which is usually nearby.
