We're back and super excited to finally have the next educational workshop confirmed.

Our speaker for this event is the prolific, 3 time Academy Award-nominated Craig Berkey (, sound designer, supervising sound editor & re-recording mixer. Craig has formed relationships and currently works with some of the worlds greatest filmmakers including the Coen brothers, Neill Blomkamp, Joe Wright & Bryan Singer.

Craig has 96 credits with 5 major award wins and 21 nominations. Some of Craig's latest work includes X-Men: Apocalypse, The Angry Birds Movie, Hail, Caesar! & Pan.

Craig will be breaking down scenes from the latest instalment of the X-Men franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse which he designed sound effects for. The quality and clarity of the sound choices created by Craig and his team are evident in this action packed sound design dream job!

Craig is without a doubt one of the greatest talents in the film industry today. He has a genuine interest in advancing the post production sound industry in Vancouver. With his intense passion, experience and vision I know we are in great hands!

I look forward to him sharing his incredible knowledge and inspiring all of us.

We are proud to announce that we have formed a relationship with Annex Pro who have joined on to help sponsor our events.

This meetup is sponsored by Annex Pro, Vancouver Film School, A Shell in the Pit and Miguel Araujo Sound therefore there will be no costs for guests.

See you Wednesday!

I really enjoyed seeing Craig's work and what all went into it, peeling back the layers, super fun!
