Taiwanese unite! We're a friendly and welcoming group. Non-Taiwanese are welcome too!
This is where we meet, share, teach, grow, relax, play, laugh, love, and drool over Taiwanese food with our new Meetup friends.
Please note soliciting is not tolerated. We expect everyone to be respectful to each other and to help make our events safe/comfortable for everyone. While our mission is to have fun and make friends, safety is also important. If another Meetup member makes you feel unsafe/uncomfortable, please let the organizers know so we can try to help! It is the organizers' discretion to remove or ban a member for their inappropriate language, attitude, behaviour, etc.
Any form of harassment is also not tolerated. Please do not contact any member if you have not met them before. Individuals found in breach of this policy is subject to removal from the group.
Please note that event organizers and members are just friends / acquaintances that got connected through the internet. When attending events, please be mindful and exercise safety precautions similar to what you would do when you meet online friends for the first time.
We have a two-strike policy where after TWO no-shows / late cancellations members may be removed without warning.
If you are a member with interests / expertise that you want to share with our community, please contact the organizers. We're always looking for friendly hosts to organize various kinds of events - online yoga, gaming, language exchange... send us your ideas!
