Our Gift to Vancouver - Community + Networking Pages

Welcome to our new twist on a popular idea.

This is a networking group for career changers, brainstormers, resource persons, mentors, people pursuing and living their dreams (even "impractical" ones....especially impractical ones!), people tired of the daily grind or those who have already escaped it, disillusioned professionals (or non-professionals. Or unprofessionals!)

How many of you have been to networking events, had some pleasant conversations, exchanged a few business cards, but found that you weren't left with relevant info to your life and your deepest dreams: those nagging prompts from somewhere inside you that get put off because of (insert reason here: mortgage, car payments, school debt, kids, spouse, "it's not practical", "I have to be a grown-up", etc.)?

It's true that you get as much out of a networking event as you put into it. But how much more could you get out of it if you found yourself in a community of people just like you, ready to activate the career and life dreams you've put on hold? Maybe some who have walked that path already and are interested in mentoring you. Maybe even some who haven't walked that path but are capable of mentoring you anyway :)

No special character traits "of successful people" required, no discipline, no "commitment" (other than showing up), no "positive attitude", minimal self-help catchphrases, and especially no gimmicks like walking on hot coals or breaking an arrow with your throat. You don't even have to be sure about what you really want (yet)!

You can design your own program based on WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU LOVE. What could be more simple and....yes, fun....than that?

I sincerely look forward to meeting you.
