I have never used Nuke but understand it's a node based software. Using nodes isn't completely foreign to me since I've used them as part of a few other software packages but have never mastered a piece of software that is completely node centric, if I were to do so, probably Nuke is the place where I'd start.
I would like to hear discussions on the challenges and workflows encountered and employed when using this standard compositing software. It would be neat to get some theory on it before I give the trial a spin. From there I would like to contribute my own questions or insights to the group.
Worked in motion graphics for 5+ years. Have used mostly AE but have touched shake, motion & others. I have a strong working understanding of most of the Adobe suite. I also have experience in certain Autodesk applications & want to learn Nuke.
