As the line continues to blur between offline and online, and e-commerce continues to rise against brick-and-mortar, UX designers are at the forefront of the shopper experience. Join Vancouver’s e-commerce leaders for different perspectives and real-word stories on the future of shopping experiences. Each speaker will share a 10-minute lightning talk, followed by a group panel Q&A.


Bryan Robertson, lululemon

Bryan is Analytics Manager at lululemon athletica. He is responsible for the apparel retailer's A/B Testing and Optimization program and analytics implementation, recently leading the analytics overhaul that accompanied the relaunch of ( Bryan's presentation will help you understand the fundamentals of measurement, and how you can apply these to your life as a UX designer.

Jaybe Allanson, Mobify

Jaybe Allanson is the Design Manager at Mobify responsible for the amazing design team creating mobile ecommerce experiences for brands such as Eddie Bauer, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Think Geek. Jaybe’s presentation will cover as many Mobile eCommerce Design Best Practices he can cram into 10 minutes. Full of tonnes of great insights that will help any mobile experience.

Anne Forkutza, iQmetrix

Anne has had a career in User Experience longer than she has been able to drink legally in the United States. Currently Anne is a Creative Strategist at iQmetrix, where she enjoys working on secret projects and making the retail space a better place to play in. Anne will help us design better in-store experiences, as she explores emerging trends in the retail world.

Graeme McLaughlin and Samantha Rousseau, MEC

Graeme leads the Ecommerce Operations Team at MEC, with a focus on understanding how digital supports the omni-channel experience for our members. He works with retailers to develop a data driven approach to testing, optimization and product development.

Samantha Rousseau is an eCommerce Merchandiser at MEC. She is responsible for the product hierarchy and making sure users can find what they want to buy. She conducts user research, builds navigation, writes requirements, and optimizes Graeme and Samantha will be co-presenting an exciting topic to be announced shortly.
