- Meetup: Dinner at Veggie Grill in Laguna Niguel (on La Paz)
Please join Vegan Agnostic, Atheist, and Free Thinkers and Vegans of Orange County at the Veggie Grill in Laguna Niguel to enjoy perhaps the most successful and professional vegan restaurant chain in the world. But also to meet and chat with some of the brightest vegan/vegetarian/veg-friendly minds of Orange County :) Don't be shy, remember vegans don't eat animals so you have nothing to fear ") The last time we met here they gave us 4 free shares! Help support our Orange County vegan restaurants- we have already lost the Veggie Grill near UCI- don't let this VG be next! Helpful Hint: This is a good opportunity to either burn off a few of those Veggie Grill credits you have accumulated on the VeggieGrill app, or to add more! :) webpage: https://www.veggiegrill.com/ Yelp page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/veggie-grill-laguna-niguel
- Meetup: Lunch at new vegan restaurant "Munchies"
Join us and the Orange County Veggie Meetup Group for a delicious “lunch at the Munch” at the newly established Munchies Diner! For those that love arcade games like pinball there is a large arcade on the second floor. Having Munchies here in the heart of OC is like having a quality vegan fast food restaurant (like a Plant Power Fast Food) right down the street from us- essentially a kind of vegan heaven :) I recently had their breakfast burger (which includes a vegan fried egg) and it was unbelievably delicious. Learn more about Munchies Diner here: https://www.munchiesoc.com https://www.facebook.com/munchiesvegandiner/ https://www.yelp.com/biz/munchies-vegan-diner-santa-ana Munchies address 515 N Main St Santa Ana, CA 92701 Phone number (714)[masked] Parking: Parking is free on Sundays in the garages and on the street. - Meetup: Lunch at new vegan restaurant "Nourish" in Costa Mesa!
Please join us for lunch at new vegan restaurant "Nourish" in Costa Mesa! From their web page: "Nourish was started in the Fall 2018, with a desire to serve and nourish: +our local community, by providing an oasis of fresh, nourishing, healing food. +all of humanity, through the example of delicious, properly balanced, healthful and satisfying plant-based eating. +the tens of billions of our fellow sentient creatures with no voice who are enslaved, used and killed for food every year. “We are creating our future selves with every bite we eat” " ***Note that Nourish does have ghee (a dairy product) physically in the restaurant but all of their main food is always vegan. The only items that use ghee are their chickpea ladu dessert balls and as a paid add-on for the Kitchari which are both clearly labeled as containing ghee. - Meetup: Vegan Lunch at "the Wheel of Life" in Irvine
This is for a quick lunch meetup for those members that can get to Irvine for lunch between 11:30-12:30. The Wheel of Life has a totally rockin' vegan lunch menu special- (a Panda-express like group of vegan dishes which they serve in 1, 2 or 3-item plates) which is maybe the best vegan lunch deal around because you can get 3 different lunch items for the price of one (including both fried rice and chow mein noodles). Ask yourself, "how many totally all vegan Panda-express-like lunch 3-item Chinese restaurants are there in Orange County?" Not many! At least it is a start. Remember you can always stop in, say hi, show your support, and grab your food to go for later. Hope to see you all there! Feel free to bring colleagues from work who are maybe interested in what a vegan Panda-express lunch is like. Web page: http://www.wheelofliferestaurant.com/index.html Yelp page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-wheel-of-life-irvine 4 of 5 stars with 600+ reviews- not too shabby!

- Meetup: Road-trip to Plant Power Fast Food in Encinitas!
The majority have spoken and chosen Plant Power Fast Food as the destination of choice for this our first vegan road-trip into San Diego County! Encinitas is only a hour south of Orange County so it is about as far from us as Los Angeles is. There will still be time after this to attend the Vegan Spring Fling in Garden Grove for those that plan on attending that. For those that want to explore more vegan delights in Encinitas, we may check out The Lion’s Pack for vegan cookie dough and soft serve, EVE or Modern Times for a beer, kombucha and/or desert. In addition a stroll through the nearby Self-Realization Fellowship grounds might be a nice way to walk off our lunch :) So please join us for a Sunday lunch at Plant Powered Fast Food in Encinitas! from their home page: https://www.plantpowerfastfood.com ==================================== FRIENDS, We believe that one of the most powerful decisions that any of us can make is to decrease the amount of animal products in our diet. Most of us already know about the effects of meat and dairy production on our planet: It’s the single largest contributor to green house gasses and is enormously wasteful of our precious water resources. The consumption of meat and dairy is also now understood to be a key contributor to a rising number of health problems. We feel that there’s a better way. How about burgers, fries, salads, shakes, and other tasty treats made entirely without the use of animal products, GMO’s or artificial ingredients and served to you in 100% biodegradable materials? We’re all moving pretty quickly these days but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy some nourishing fast food that feeds your soul and makes your mouth happy. After all, you deserve it, don’t you? We warmly invite you to come on by and enjoy a delicious meal or snack that’s kind to our animal friends, easy on the planet and good for the body you live in. -The Plant Power Fast Food Family ==================================== Yelp Page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/plant-power-fast-food-encinitas
