Please join the Veg Society of DC (VSDC) Book Club and African American Networking Group to discuss "Ageless Vegan: The Secret to Living a Long and Healthy Plant-Based Life" by Tracye McQuirter and Mary McQuirter.
***The authors plan to join us for this special meeting to answer questions.***
To participate you must read the first 60 pages (up to the recipes, a quick read) — and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.
This is not a dinner meeting, but you are welcome to bring a dish to share based on a recipe from the book (vegan food only, please).
This meeting takes place in a lounge area of a metro-accessible apartment building in DC. People who RSVP "yes" will get the location details the weekend before the meeting. The address will not be posted online. Contact Beth (http://www.meetup.com/vegan-28/message/?recipientId=1642817) through meet up with any questions.
For this book, Tracye McQuirter, who helped launch VSDC's Eat Smart program, teamed up with her mother Mary McQuirter to share secrets for maintaining radiant health along with 100 of their favorite recipes. Don't be a no show! If your plans change, update your RSVP.
