Join the VSDC Singles Group Sunday, August 26th for a paddle on the tranquil Anacostia River before summer is over!
Sunday, August 26th, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Diamond Teague Park
Potomac Ave SE and First Street SE
Washington, DC 20003
We'll meet at Ballpark Boathouse at 11:00 am. When you arrive, please fill out a waiver form. Everyone will arrange for a boat on their own (kayaks and canoes available). You pay when you return depending on how long you were out. If you'd like to pair up with someone, please indicate that in the comments below and we'll do our best to pair folks up. We'll paddle for an hour or so and then have lunch at Takorean nearby.
We suggest you bring a hat, water and sunscreen. The boathouse provides life jackets and paddles. There are cubbyholes where you can stash personal items, but they are not secure (although dock personnel are there at all times).
Don't kayak? Just meet us for lunch at Takorean. We should end up there around 12:30-1:00.
